Our Patron is AGRO

Hi, I’m Agro Vation but everyone just knows me as Agro.

I have been asked by the Shandar Smith Foundation to consider being Patron of this organisation. Being just a kid myself I was very honoured.

With my ‘minder’ Mr Jamie Dunn, I appear on Brisbane’s best morning radio program and also host a national tv show. My ‘Agro to the Rescue’ daily radio segment aims to help those who have run into some issue where a helping hand is needed. As Mr Dunn has 6 children himself and a heavy involvement in raising funds for organisations like the Royal Brisbane Children’s Hospital I have been quite involved myself in these activities (you know I just can’t leave home without him).

Through the ‘kids in touch’ program the Foundation is seeking to raise money to buy web cameras so kids with Cancer can get in contact with other kids or even their support groups so they don’t feel ‘different’ during their illness. If I play a small part in helping them raise the funds to achieve this goal then I will be a happy little puppet.

Recently we held the official presentation of cameras to Shandar by Mt. St. Michael's College
The students fund raised to present 20 cameras for the use by Kids In Touch
16 of these cameras were then given to Camp Quality 13 to be used by young
cancer sufferers and 1 to each of Camp Quality offices in Queensland.
Below are some pictures taken at the  presentation
